Southern Arizona - Tucsan
After a long trip across the country and lots of boon docking I am already looking forward to our KOA reservation in the middle of the city! I plan to shower daily, enjoy the swimming pools, and get a fix of local shopping - along with mail delivery too! Also Saguaro National Park is close by so ONE MORE park to check off!
Big Bend National Park
We have a hip camp reservation right outside the park entrance. Right now the weather looks like it will be perfect - highs in the high 70’s and lows in the high 50’s. Hoping for amazing dark skies for Christmas Eve!
I-10 WEST
Time to head west until next fall! We are planning to drive along I-10 from Jacksonville, Florida to California. We will likely spend the month of January in the southern Arizona/California border area. With a “final” destination in Joshua Tree where we plan to look for a basecamp property. Just a place to set up like a very nice campsite and get mail with our address! But plans change a lot around here so we shall see!
Outter Banks, NC
One of our favorite places we’ve ever been! The deserted winter beaches are magical with sunsets to savor and star gazing that never disappoints.
Assateague National Seashore
After several weeks recovering from my surgery in late October we decided to spend some time at the beach! The east coast beaches during off season are a real treat! Virginia’s Assateague Island and National Seashore was empty, quiet, easy and the most beautiful sunsets ever!
Harrisburg, PA
We don’t have reservations yet. Most likely will be at Twin Grove about 40 minutes west of Harrisburg. We have doctors appointments and Amie has surgery there. No firm dates yet.

We won’t be attending because of the Delta variant. Since he is a favorite artist and the tickets are only $40 we won’t be asking for a refund. Generally his crowd is very progressive and would likely all be wearing masks and vaccinated. We just don’t want to risk it. I hope everyone stays safe.
RENO
We have a long stop over in Reno. We both have to fly to engagements in PA, separately. This RV Park is 20 minutes west of downtown Reno. It also accepts mail which is always good for a long stop over! Plans are all up in the air with the new Delta Variant. In the process of trying to get refunds on all the concerts and festivals. The experts say that going even outside with masks on, it is just asking to catch it.
